Meet the Instructor
Hailing from Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, Vaughn Stoffey has become one of the preeminent voices in modern metal guitar as a member of the German death metal juggernaut Defeated Sanity. While his touring credentials span over four continents, he also holds a B.M. from New England Conservatory, as well as an M.M. from Manhattan School of Music, providing a unique perspective on the applications of western classical and jazz techniques in the context of modern metal guitar playing.
