By the end of this program, you will
• Create an original demo in Ableton Live with the guidance of a professional music producer
• Do a listening session and Ableton session breakdown of your song for the class
• Record, process, and mix your musical ideas in Ableton Live
• Practice on our high-tech production workstations at our facility
Your class topics include:
• Ableton interface
• Intro to FX and Plugins
• Intro to MIDI
• Intro to Recording
• Importing Samples or a Full Track
• Gridding
• Sampling
• Intro to Automation
• Basic Mixing and Using a Limiter for a Demo or Club-Ready Mix
Your class goals:
• Create and do a session breakdown of an original song in Ableton Live
• Get comfortable navigating the Ableton Live user interface
• Learn how to use Ableton Live DAW features
• Prepare for more advanced music production education
