By the end of this program, you will
• Perform with industry professionals in live ensemble settings
• Analyze and rehearse a variety of musical styles
• Learn techniques to record and produce drum tracks
• Improve your sight reading skills to prepare for recording sessions
Your class topics include:
• Chart Reading
• Technique
• Style studies in Rock, Funk, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, Caribbean, Jazz, and more
• Drum Recording in the Studio
• Weekly Ensemble Rhythm Sections
Your class goals:
• Be able to play various genres of music on the drums
• Be able to read charts during recording sessions
• Know how to mic a drum set at home professional vocalists
• Get experience performing with professional musicians in an ensemble
Your class schedule:
All classes are held at our NYC Campus
Classes held on Saturdays:
5/18/24 through 6/8/24
Class times: 1 – 3pm
Includes open practice facility time on class days from 11am – 1pm and 3 – 5pm
