By the end of this program, you will

• Create an original demo idea in Logic Pro
• Lead a listening session and session breakdown of your song for the class
• Learn Logic Pro essentials with guidance from a professional music producer
• Network with other aspiring music creatives

Your class topics include:

• Logic User interface
• Intro to FX and Plugins
• Intro to MIDI
• Intro to Recording
• Importing Samples or a Full Track
• Gridding
• Sampling
• Intro to Automation
• Basic Mixing and Using a Limiter for a Demo or Club-Ready Mix

Your class goals:

• Learn foundational principles of music production to facilitate future study
• Get comfortable navigating the Logic Pro interface
• Create and present a piece of original music
• Get individual practice time on pro-grade music gear at our facility
