Ron “Blondie Boy” Thaler is credited on more than 450 recordings, with 3 Grammys©, 2 BCMA awards, a Songwriters Hall Of Fame award, & 11 #1 Billboard© hits, working with Alicia Keys, David Guetta, John Legend, Taj Mahal, Willie Nelson, Jewel, Dweezil Zappa, and on gaming franchise “Dead Rising 4”. Ron has released four solo albums (JVC, OMD/Warner), and appeared on primetime tv on NBC’s “Lipstick Jungle” alongside Brooke Shields and Kim Raver.

He has worked in partnership with Sony Music, Warner Chappell, UMG, NBC/Universal, Sony Pictures, Ubisoft, Capcom, Chanel, Google/IO, MGM, Qatar 2022, ABC, CBS, Fox, NatGeo, Telemundo, and the History Channel through his companies RTP Productions, RTTP Publishing, SodaBox Music Licensing & Supervision, The Concorde Agency, 6Ways Entertainment, TPR Records, and The Haus Of Owl. He has also ventured into immersive 360º sound and music future tech with SoundSphere Immersive, Lysten360, and DCIBL.

The seminar, titled “What’s The Deal?… The Business of Making Music in 2024″, offers an overview of important music business areas that artists need to get a handle on in order to find sustainability and success in their careers. These include: publishing rights vs. master rights, the economics of music, industry agreements and contracts, copyright statutes, music synchronization and other income streams, major and indie record label deals and publishing deals, music charting and what it really means, social networking and marketing strategies, making and releasing music in 2024, and techniques for negotiating good deals.
